Flash the Sloth:
Flash the sloth is our class pet this year! His job is to look for the Super Writing Student of the week. This student will get to take home Flash for the weekend! They will pick one thing (a small moment) that they did with Flash and will record in one of the sheets . I encourage drawings, and taking pictures! Every student will get a chance to take him home at somepoint in the year.
Volunteers:
This year during our intervention block, I would like the students to practice independent reading. They gradually build up stamina and will be able to read for 20 minutes independently. I am looking for cleared volunteers to come in and read with a small group during this time. The time would be 1:25- 1:50.
I would also like to do a mystery reader on Friday mornings to come and read our Read Aloud.
